We are proud to announce today that our own Kees van Asselt received a ribbon today! It has pleased the King to make him a member of the Ordev van Oranje-Nassau. And it has also pleased us as a board to be able to put Kees in the spotlight nationwide after a good 16 years of volunteering for SHOUT.
Over the past six months we have done our best to gather information without Kees’ all-seeing eye realizing it. About the 16 years that he has been a volunteer and later also a board member of SHOUT. About how he has spent half an FTE in SHOUT every month for all these years without asking for anything in return. About how in those 16 years, even when he was almost collapsing at times, he was present at every SHOUT party and helped where he could.
And Kees is still the face of SHOUT and the LGBTIQ+ community in Wageningen, and we hope that he will join SHOUT for many years to come!

Congratulations, Keith! You have earned this ribbon twice over.
