We are sailing to safe spaces!
We’re glad to announce that Shout is sailing again in the Utrecht Canal Pride this year. Saturday, June 3rd, we are joining 50 boats parading in the beautiful canals of Utrecht.
Our theme this year is safe spaces, in its most personal definition. For Shout itself, this means providing a safe space for its members and guests, regardless of gender identity or sexuality.
What better opportunity to represent our safe haven than in Utrecht Canal Pride 2023! Hear the music, feel the enthusiasm of the crowd and fellow participants and feel safe to celebrate this day with us. After the parade, you’re more than welcome to join the afterparties.
SQS- Save Queer Spaces
A safe space can have different meanings for everyone, yet it is essential for the queer community. That’s why we have asked people in our community what safe space means to them with a little survey. We are trying our best to shape our boat around those answers. Feel free to add your own opinion if you would like.
As a result of our research we found that people associate the colours green, blue and purple with safe spaces, so please dress in one of these colours!
Soft Drinks and sanitary facilities are provided. Tickets are €35 for Shout- members, and €50 for non-members.
Members receive a special discount code in their e-mail.
When you buy a ticket, your name will be on our list. You will not receive a ticket per e-mail.
