From September till half November we organize the Find Out SHOUT. With other interested people and two mentors you’ll form a group. Together you’ll visit the regular and extra SHOUT activities to get to know the association and its members. You’ll find the program for the next Find Out on the right.
While ‘Introduction Period’ might sound like we’re a student association, we are not. The introduction period definitely is in no way a hazing period. This introduction is just a fun way of getting to know the people and the committees of the association in a small group of new members under the guidance of two SHOUT members.
You do not have to be a student to join!
Find Out SHOUT costs 15 euros on top of your membership registration fee. You’ll pay the remaining months of the annual membership plus 15 euros for your Find Out participation. Included in this price is a meal with your group, a welcome pack and the members activities. For the drag night you still need to buy a seperate ticket (with members discount of course).

Dinner at mentors
You will have dinner at your mentors and will meet your Find Out group and mentors. The mentors will contact you about where you have to be and at what time. You can pass on any dietary requirements.

Pink café: Explore SHOUT, at Wilde Wereld expedition
On the third Friday of the month SHOUT opens the door of theatre De Wilde Wereld for a open pink pub. Join us for a drink and meet some other LGBTQ+ people, everybody is welcome. This time we organise a after summer drink. Enjoy a summer drink like a wheat beer, Radler or cocktail/mocktail while you chat about all your summer adventures. And if you want to go on a real adventure you can play a game to get to know the building and SHOUT better.

Pink café movie night: Rocky Horror Picture Show
Every third Friday of the month SHOUT opens the door of theatre De Wilde Wereld for a pink pub. This time we host a pink movie night. We will screen The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a parody tribute to the science fiction and horror B movies of the 1930s through to the early 1960s. The story centres a newly-engaged couple who has a breakdown in an isolated area and must seek shelter at the bizarre residence of Dr. Frank-n-Furter. This queer cult movie, the 1975 movie adaptation of the eponymous musical, had become the gateway for the queer youth to self-discovery for a few generations. Themes of androgyny, gender-bending, bisexuality, and sexual liberation attracted many people. It even went further to have a cult following that stood in lines in fishnets and makeup every Saturday night. “Let’s do the time-warp again” this Friday at SHOUT.

Committee evening and end of Find Out
SHOUT is running exclusively on the effort of their volunteers. During the committee night you will get to know them all. At the committee market you can walk by all the stands, hear what the committees do and find the one that fits you best. You can also join workshops of ± 15 minutes in which committees will show what they do. You don’t want to join a specific committee but do want to help with something? There are always temporary committees and activities which need help.
